Resistance If processed properly, it resists machine oils, mineral chemicals, weak acids, salt solutions up to 10%, sea water, alkaline solutions up to 25%. Resistance in the test according to ASTM C-1353, when we apply MTOTOP 900-C wear at 5 kg/m2, it shows almost 240% more wear resistance compared to the control concrete.

Performance

In compliance with ACI 201-2R77 & ACI 302-1 R-89, concrete with a proper mix design is required.

The concrete producer must be sure that the ratio of water to cement, the amount of cement and the flow rate are in accordance with the minimum standard and according to the following values:

• Concrete should not have separation or water leakage, and it should not contain more than 3% air. When we apply this product on concrete with micro-silica, special attention should be paid to the application time. For the best performance, it is recommended to use water-reducing additives in concrete. The concrete layers on which MTOTOP 900-C is applied must have a minimum thickness of 75 mm. After concreting, the surface of the concrete should be leveled using a pry bar and then vibrated.

• Level the concrete surface with a wooden trowel so as to avoid excessive polishing. Fix surface water leakage. (Do not use a sponge.) Spray MTOTOP 900-C on the sides of the executive parts (where the executive and expansion joints are found) to a width of approximately 80 mm. Spread them on the surface using a wooden trowel.

• MTOTOP 900-C is ideally applied to a surface that is neither too dry nor too wet. The ambient temperature is the main factor determining this time. Normally, at temperatures of 35 to 45 degrees Celsius, a time of 30 to 40 minutes is suggested after concreting. This period will be longer at temperatures below 35 degrees Celsius.

• With the help of a long stand that runs the length of the concrete piece, sprinkle the material by hand on the surface of the wet concrete. The implementation is done in two stages.

• Sprinkle two-thirds of the required material on the concrete surface, making sure to spread it evenly.

• Allow the applied material to absorb moisture from the surface and a solid dark color will be visible.

• Spread MTOTOP 900-C on the surface using a wooden trowel to ensure it is uniform with the original concrete surface.

• Apply the rest of the materials and after the color of the materials darkens, spread them on the surface again with a wooden trowel.

• When the surface is hard enough to accept the weight of a person and only a small indentation appears in his footsteps, MTOTOP 900-C should be finished using a butterfly trowel. A smooth and non-slip surface will be obtained, but you should not work too much on the surface.

If the final smoothing is done using a hand tool such as a metal trowel, this should be done before the concrete hardens for traffic.

Processing should be started quickly after the last trowel is done. This can be done either by covering the surface with plastic sheets or by using curing materials. It is recommended to use MTOTOP 900-C in the amount of one liter per 5 square meters.
