Properties and effects of ASODUR-SG2 primer

This product is water-friendly and with its high density, it can replace water in concrete pores and prevent oil and other chemical compounds from rising in concrete. In fact, it creates a completely protective layer on the wet concrete surface.

It has a very high resistance to chemicals and alkaline pH up to pH = 13, so it can be applied after concreting. After drying, this product has a pH of 7-8 and is suitable for use on various surfaces due to its neutrality.

Amount of ASODUR-SG2 primer

This product is especially used in cases where quick service of the surface is required and there is not enough time for the concrete to dry.

How to use ASODUR-SG2 primer

Surface preparation:

To obtain a clean, absorbent surface, free of pollution or previous coatings, etc., use one of the methods of shot blasting, water blasting, sand blasting, etc., and then washing with clean water. Make sure that the surface is wet before applying ASODUR-SG2 primer, but not wet and soaked.

ASODUR-SG2 primer compositions

Mix everything except A and B. Apply one layer of the resulting mixture with an approximate consumption rate of 2.8 m2/lit by roller or smoothing on the wet surface. All pores should be coated with ASODUR-SG2 primer.

On the surface of the ASODUR-SG2 wet primer, apply silica with a mesh of 0.5-1 mm with pressure.

After 24 hours, sweep the excess and non-adherent silicas. The surface will be ready to cover to some extent.

Important tips for using ASODUR-SG2 primer

Surface protection systems must be protected from exposure to moisture (rain and dew) for 6 hours after applying ASODUR-SG2 primer. Moisture creates a white or sticky surface. It may also cause problems in the hardening process. In these cases, the surface must be sanded and recoated.

Tools and equipment used should be cleaned immediately after application with a suitable solvent.

ASODUR-SG2 primer is physically indestructible after hardening.
