There are different types of "water cooler" keys:

The first type, socket model (old)

The second type, built-in air conditioner switch (new): There are only four screws on the back of these keys. Named fast, slow, pump, phase. So exactly on each screw is written what its function is. Or maybe English letters are used as p for pump, l for phase, f for fast and s for slow. The advantage of these switches is that they do not require a cord and, like ordinary power switches, are connected with screws.

The third type, all-pole air conditioner switch: Newer air conditioner switches, known as all-pole air conditioner switches, work by disconnecting and reconnecting both phase and neutral connections to the air conditioner. The purpose of this work is to increase safety and prevent possible electric shocks in air conditioners.
