Concrete bubble blower materials create medium-sized air bubbles (50 microns) in concrete. Air bubble production in concrete improves the quality of fresh concrete in terms of reducing the ratio of water to cement, improves efficiency, prevents separation of materials and turns the concrete sap and also strengthens the hardened concrete against freezing and frosting.
Necessity of application and benefits:
- Creation of concrete resistant to frozen-thaw cycles
- Preparation of chemical corrosion resistant concrete
- Performing a variety of concrete pavements such as parking decking, airport runways, sidewalks and streets.
- Freezing in cold and frost areas such as cold stores
- Concreting in aquatic structures such as dams and tanks
- Partial weight reduction of concrete which can produce more volume of concrete with a certain amount of cement and aggregate.
- Increase concrete slab
- Production of concrete containing a lot of fine materials
- Production of concrete containing high alkali cement
- Production of concrete containing high carbon fly ash
- Decreased water mixing of concrete
- Increased concrete impermeability
- Reduce the amount of sand used in concrete
- Decrease in carbonation of concrete
- Reduction of water loss and intergranular separation
- More protection of the bars against corrosion
- Reduce costs of concrete maintenance
