NVR device NVR-9216-H2 16CH DSP

The NVR device can be simply considered equivalent to a server in a network CCTV system. The NVR will handle all DVR functions in the network CCTV system. In addition, if it is POE, this device can also be used as a power supply for cameras. The functions of the NVR in the network system are:

Capture images of cameras connected to the NVR
Ability to view images seamlessly
Ability to adjust images and image capture features
Camera power (if NVR and cameras are POE)
Create features related to image processing

NVR:

NVRs are usually classified in several ways. The most important of these aspects are the number of channels and the bandwidth of the NVR. The most common channels for NVRs are:

4-channel NVR: Ability to install up to 4 network cameras
8-channel NVR: Ability to install up to 8 network cameras
16-channel NVR: Ability to install up to 16 network cameras
32-channel NVR: Ability to install up to 32 network cameras

The amount of input bandwidth of the device determines how much information the device will be able to process. This feature is important when you want to connect very high quality image cameras to your device. In this case, you will need to calculate the network traffic and then select the appropriate NVR. POE device:
Some NVR models have POE capability in some of their channels. The POE capability in the CCTV camera allows the power to be transmitted to the equipment by the network cable at the same time as the image information. This way, there is no need for separate cabling for the cameras, and the cameras are powered by the POE port of the NVR device.

Difference between NVR and DVR
NVR and DVR are both video recording devices in CCTV systems. The DVR is often used in HD analog CCTV, however it can also support IP cameras. The NVR has more advanced VCA image processing capabilities than the DVR. These features include face recognition, plaque recognition, and more.

The above NVR device has one VGA port, one HDMI port, two USB ports and one RJ45 port and can be nine CCTV cameras with 5MP resolution, sixteen CCTV cameras with 3MP resolution, sixteen CCTV cameras with 1080P resolution, twenty-five cameras Attached 960P CCTV or twenty-five 720P CCTV cameras.
