Fire-resistant gypsum panels (FR) are coated panels whose gypsum contains fiberglass, which makes fire-coated panels fire-resistant. Gypsum also contains glass fibers. Fire-resistant gypsum panels are used in places where fire protection is needed (such as covering columns and steel beams). These plates have a pink coating and a red knauf seal is printed along the middle axis behind them.

There are different types of Knauf gypsum panels to suit the environmental conditions. Which are divided into 4 categories:
In general conditions, simple gypsum panels or Regular board (RG) are used.
Moisture Resistant (MR) panels are used for wet places such as bathrooms. These plates can be used in places with humidity less than 90%.
In places that need fire protection, Fire Resistant board (FR) panels with fiberglass are recommended that withstand fire for up to 3 hours.
Fire & Moisture resistant board (FM) panels, which are resistant to moisture and fire, are also used for places such as installation wells.
