It is a type of concrete additive that is supplied in both liquid and powder forms, which after being added to concrete, accelerates hydration and increases the hardening process of malt and concrete, and as a result, increases the initial strength of concrete. It combines with calcium hydroxide from hydration of cement to form insoluble calcium carbonate, which benefits the reaction by accelerating the reaction of silicate and alumina. The calcium carbonate produced from the reaction is hardened and increases the strength of the concrete. This material acts like a catalyst in chemical reactions and sticks to it as soon as new concrete is bonded to the desired surfaces.
